We've been flirting through FB for about a year but it never went anymore because we were both in a relationship. That seems to be not the case now. So we're texting and he's coming on strong (both with the sexual innuendos and the pet names) and it's making me uncomfortable. For example, "Sweet dreams Baby...Good Morning, Honey Bunny...You can be my Honey Bunny or Angel Bear." (Ew) I really like him, so how do I tell him to cool it without hurting his ego or seeming cold?
DArtagnan2 Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 Maybe you can get in to a conversation about dating in general. Not specifically about you two dating, just in general. Bring up the things you dislike or like that guys do and what is an attractive quality and an unattractive quality about someone you would date. That pet names are a turn off, etc. Just make sure to be prepared on what to say if he was to ask you if some of the things he says bother you. You can tell him honestly, but with tact. Then reinforce that you are interested in him. just a thought.
