Lisa100small Posted February 19, 2005 Posted February 19, 2005 This Tuesday night, I saw my ex in class again and this time he said nothing to me. I was surprised and happy because he had been criticizing me alot lately but he said nothing......I was relieved. Ok......so yesterday, I had just gotten of class and me and some of my classmates went to see our instructor to see our exam grades, we had a really hard test....lots of people failed but I made the highest schore in class which was a B but I wanted an A but I was sick the day we took the test. Since a large number of people failed, my teacher was giving a retake, I am gonna retake it so I can make a higher score.....I knew the material jst had a bad cold on test day......so Chris, whose a senior at my university was listening to us talk about grades and he told me that i should be proud of my score and that I was smart...so a few minutes later, I was talking to more of my classmates and I was going back and forth getting notes and Chris was in the hall talking on his cell......i alked back and forth past him about 3 times and the 4th time he called me and he said "I have been trying for so long to get you alone" I was like "ok, whats going on thats so top secret?" and he said " you know, you are really, very cute and smart, i like that, its so hard to find that in a girl" I smiled and said thanks (AAAHHH!), I didnt think he liked me, I did have a secert crush on him because he's tall, goodlooking and smart..he asked me if i had a bf or somebody, I said I know, he asked me if i wanted one....and could we maybe get together sometime, i told him i did not have a bf or anything becaue school kept me so busy.....but I did want someone and that I didnt want to do poorly in school because of a guy.....he told me he wouldnt want that and that he wouldnt pressure me to do anything i didnt want to and that he was the same way about school.......we talked for a few minutes about stuff(family, goals in life, etc) we had never really talked before (we're both nursing students, I'm a junior, he's a senior but we are both so busy)....I was so excited and at the end, he grabbed my phone, it was in my hand and said "Now, I'm gonna put my number in here and if you have some spare time, give me a call"........he put his number in and I was .....so happy. And then I told him I had to go..and he said ok.......I am on cloud nine!! So I am wondering...DOES THIS GUY LIKE ME??? I have had a crush on him for the longest time and we have said hi to each other when we see each other and sometimes we all eat lunch together in a group but he said he had been trying to get me alone for a long time........it was so sweet and he was kind of shy........so do you think he is into me or what?? I just want to be safe because i chased after my bad boy ex (broke up with him and its been 9 months)....I want to go slow........but I just want for the guy to like me back this time, it was one sided with my ex....
LucreziaBorgia Posted February 19, 2005 Posted February 19, 2005 It sounds positive to me. Don't jump in too quick, and don't go giving your heart away too soon. Just have fun - date, hang out, and enjoy the moment. If you spend all your time analyzing the relationship, you won't have time to actually enjoy it. Think "now" and not "what can I expect", for a while anyway. Otherwise you'll find yourself trying to lay out some 'relationship security' groundwork before there is even a foundation built. And we all know what happens to things built on shaky foundations... Give him a call. Go out and have fun. See where it goes from day to day. It really does sound like he's interested!
Hund1976 Posted February 20, 2005 Posted February 20, 2005 I would give him a call, just try not to let yourself get to head over heels until you've been on some dates with him and get to know him a little better.
