Trick1004 Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 Been awhile since I've posted here. Ex left me out of the blue a little over a year ago. I've been basically NC with her since. Anyway, today I was walking back from the bank across the street from where I work. I'm not paying a whole lot of attention, was deep in thought about some Excel modelling I was doing. A car going by slowed down to a crawl and I heard someone say "hey how are you doing?". I turned my head, gave a wave, and kept walking. Once I got out of my head with the Excel a couple hours later, I realized it was most likely the ex. Same car, driver blearily looked like her (I don't have the best eyesight). Guess I never expected to see her anywhere near where I work considering the last I know she lives a good 30 miles away and has no reason to be in the city much less the same street where I work. I feel like a bit of an ******* just giving her a wave (unintentionally), though I don't know how a conversation would have gone if I'd realized it was her at the time and went over to talk. Thoughts anyone? The wounds of R/S are scars now. Thanks, Trick

Zapbasket Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 Maybe it wasnt her, but if she decided to say hello from a moving car she moved on ages ago. I bet it's weird for you and some memories resurface. If after a) breaking up with you out of the blue and b) one year of NC she decided to say hello from a moving car, she is an insensitive idiot and your Excel modeling was a much more worthy application of your focus. As will be, whenever in the future you are ready, a different woman. 1
