Xiang Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 So my gf got mad at me for contacting her so late at night...since i was busy with other things, she just got a hissy fit that i ignored her all day up to this point...not my intention. So she yelled at me to leave her alone, she doesn't want to talk to me right now and hung up. Do i let it go and she get's over it or call back and try to talk it over? I do believe she is overreacting but i really don't know what to do. 1
BlueIris Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 I’d apologize and clarify what time is too late to call.
Keenly Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 I don't understand this behavior in a relationship. Some one unintentionally doesn't communicate for a while because they are busy, and their counterpart decides to purposefully cause problems by acting like a brat and avoiding conversation. One is life getting in the way, the other is intentionally causing more problems. Your girlfriend is playing games with you dude. She wants you to know who has all of the power in your relationship.
travelbug1996 Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 Relationships don't have to be about power when people set and enforce boundaries. Explain to her that you will not be yelled at or hung up on but also take responsibility if you had any
