I'll keep this short and simple people.

I went on a trip about 2 hours away to a mates house to party and go clubbing for the weekend.

On the first night I met a cool girl at the club, she doesn't drink at all.

She came home with me and we had a fun time ;) , she slept the night and left in the morning.

I got her number, etc and started talking to her for the next 2 weeks.

I told her to come down on the weekend so I can take her out, she said that would be really cool, she works till 6pm and will catch a train afterwards to stay over on a Saturday.

Unfortunately I have developed a few trust issues since childhood and was wondering if you guys and gals think this is just a f**k buddy situation or a possible start to a relationship?

Thanks for your help.

Relationships have grown out of stranger situations. Have a discussion about it if you want.

It doesn't sound like a f buddy situation, I think she might be interested in a relationship. Go on a few more dates with her and see if you guys click:)

Its whatever you make it man.

Right now it seems like someone you saw once and are planning to take out again, soon.

It could be anything! You need to figure it out! Go on more dates and you'll see!

I agree that it has potential.

Are you relegating it to f*buddy because she slept with you so quickly? If she wasn't drinking, she at least made that decision with a clear head.

What makes you think she doesn't like you & only wants to use you for sex? If that's all she wanted she probably would pick a guy who isn't 2 hours away & therefore more convenient.

Right now, it's neither.

Why don't you wait til you see her again before you start throwing up categories in which you feel like you need to put this "thing" into?

Thankyou for everyone's replies so far, really appreciate it.

I think im questioning whether this is a f buddy situation or not because I've never met up with a girl after a one night stand, I've had quite a lot one night stands but never with a girl that was sober so I thought I would see where it would go.

I just have a few trust issues and it takes me while to figure out if someone is using me or been genuine with me.

And the second point you brought up was exactly what I was thinking, why would someone bother traveling 2 hours just for sex when she could just go out in her area again and find a guy that lives closer.

Play it cool, see how it gos. If its meant to be it will happen. Trust in that.

I'm curious because you don't really say what you want it to be?

Fair enough if you don't know just yet and want to just see how things turn out. Hope you are not writing her off because you're worried she is too easy. Maybe she felt something extraordinary with you or just went with the flow. But basically you did the same thing so try not to judge her for it.

Otherwise, if I am reading between the lines correctly, it sounds like you like her or are intrigued. Why not just see what happens? I think if you like, there's a good chance for you. Good luck

I would much rather a relationship, that's why I was worried that she might of just wanted a f buddy situation.

I don't even see much point in one night stands, about 90% of the times I go out I'll end up sleeping with some girl. I feel as if it's a waste of time, I would rather wake up next to someone that cares and supports me, as gay as it may sound I'm just been honest.

Stop with the negative projections. Pick up the phone & call her for a date. Then you will know what she wants.

That's what I thought when i read most of your posts--that you would like to date her/see where it goes. As it typically is, guy is in the driver's seat. Have confidence and ask her out. She is probably waiting for you to do that. I honestly believe that the majority of girls don't just sleep with a guy for NSA sex. There are always strings attached. At the beginning, they are hopeful and wanting to see what could be. Go for it.

There's no reason why this can't work, last year I got chatting to a friend of a friend on a night out. We got a bit carried away on that night, I was just in that mood. We were together for 6 months. All the way through I worried he wasn't that into me and it was more about the sex. I spoke to our mutual friend who reassured me he wouldn't travel an hours drive to come see someone he wasn't that into, he wouldn't have taken me on dates and we wouldn't have seen each other so frequently. I really wished I hadnt worried about it do much

I'm glad you've experienced something similar to my situation.

The part about travel is the main thing that reassures me that this could be the start of a relationship, since who in their crazy mind would travel 2.5 hours (in my case) to meet up just for sex.

I just need to stop over thinking everything and see what happens.

Thanks.

Well I did pretty much ask her out, I said come down to where I live and I'll take you out, she said she would really like that.

I've never actually taken a girl on a date before so I don't really know what counts as a date, I thought this was something a bit casual.

Dating is a new world to me, it's going to be strange only been with one person for a while .

Decide what you want and then consider what she wants. Keep it fun as it is now and show her a good time for coming from 2hrs away just to hang with you. That says a lot.

Update to the whole thing:

Turns out her mum freaked out for her to travel 2 hours out of where she lives to stay with some stranger, I haven't met her mum and I can understand this.

Im only 20 and she is 18, so fair enough. So she isn't coming now.

But, I had another girl I was talking too that I met last weekend at a club that lives close to me and we've been talking all week. I asked her out for dinner on the saturday and she said "Sounds really good, can't wait :D" so I'm not really losing here.

Thought I would share that.
