Guitarisgood Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 She'd intially turned me down due to interest in another guy that seemed like the celebrity crush type (sounded like she's been rejected by him). Then one night at a party we got really cosy and had I been more forward, something would have happened. Throughout this time, we've kept in touch messaging every day multiple times (my friends say this is a good sign). Now out on a weekend night we're exchanging texts and she says she has got back from dinner after having a few drinks (I was at a friends gathering). I never got a reply back after I sent my last message. Now my brains gone into overdrive thinking she went on a date, she's brought a guy back to hers and they are getting it on; hence the no reply (when she has always replied to me). It was pretty late but around the time she went to bed and my last message was along the lines that I'd talk to her tomorow (she always replies back). Now I know not to put my eggs in one basket. I know that we're not together or anything. Heck I know I should not be feeling this stupid. I don't know but I think she has me wrapped around her fingers even as cool as I try to act, my insides just want to scream; hence I thank you guys for keeping my wits in place. So what do you guys think? I mean she knows I am interested in her and these last few weeks I've been feeling a change of how she feels towards me. Yet when she said dinner my brains gone haywire. I'm not the type to fixate when I've been given a clear response. Would a girl say she's gone to dinner to a guy she might have something for if the dinner meant a date with another guy? P.s. We're in our late teens turning 20

Have some self respect. You are just a backup and will be added to the pile eventually. You never let yourself be the left overs.
