chucksagent Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 Most of the women I have been with have initiated physical interaction (intimacy) about 30-50% of the time. 50% I admit is high. My wife never really has initiated much, but I guess I hoped it would change if I stopped initiating so frequently (she never denies me sex, just never initiates). After experimenting for a few weeks, it seems that if I don't initiate, we would never have sex. Is this normal? For a woman to only initiate sex 5-10% of the time? I know the old joke is that men initiate almost all the time, but I wanted to confirm if there was any truth in that jest. When I ask her why she says "I've never been one to initiate...never in my life. And I never really have before we were married either, so why are you surprised now?"
GemmaUK Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 Women aren't all the same. Your wife has answered your question in respect to whether it's normal or not for her.
