What think y'all?

Though I'm originally from Eastern Europe, Chicago is the city that shaped me and served as the constant companion and backdrop to the drama of my life. Culturally I'm the best of both worlds, a real Dracula Cowboy. Interestingly, despite having spent a great deal of my life in this city, I feel there is much I don't know about my home town. I’m looking for a fellow-explorer. Maybe you’re new to this town or maybe you’re like me. Either way, we can go exploring this great big town together like Lewis and Clark, or maybe you’d prefer Bonnie and Clyde.*

I do jest about the Dracula Cowboy thing, I heard it in a romantic movie once and it made me laugh so I thought I'd share it.

Well, enough about how I relate to my city, let's talk about me. Comedy is my life. No, I'm not some sort of crazy comedian. I don't particularly like comedians in general, but I can stand people who take the world too seriously even less. Life is to short for that. I'm known to “get ridiculous” and I'm certainly “guilty of having fun”. In that regard, I'm a bit like Redfoo, though not as famous... YET. But, I know what's important in life and I try to keep those proverbial ducks in a row as best as I can. I have a job, I love it and I have lots of fun there. In fact, I have as much fun there as I have when not-working. My job is a stage, I teach. I like science, art, improv, writing, sharing ideas, mentoring, cycling, experimenting with non-traditional foods, etc...

Please, female users, what's good and what's bad? What are the turn-offs, if any? Thanks.

I think it's great - good luck

It's well above average.

Lois and Clark, not Lewis.

Just be authentic..

I really like it! I can tell you are a fun, intelligent, witty guy.

I would tighten it up a bit. Where you say that you like comedy , etc., you could cut the part where you say you don't like people who aren't funny (or something). Simply say what you like and leave out the negative (what you don't like.) good rule of thumb in general.

Sorry, I know you are clever, but Dracula cowboy sounds weird to me. I don't get it. What does it mean? Maybe say that (the meaning) instead. I would drop any terminology that could be misunderstood or isn't widely used. I thought maybe you were making a "twilight" movie reference....? Um, I'm not into vampire stuff at all.

Love the Bonnie and Clyde reference. I would reply to you based on that! You sound playful and fun!

No, not Lois Lane and Clark Kent....Lewis and Clark of the Discovery Expedition:p.

Anyway OP, great profile. Should be a hit.

Ok, I reread and understand Dracula cowboy reference. Maybe just say European cowboy. In any event, you sound balanced and well rounded. Interesting. You'll get tons of replies!

I decided to change a few things. Here is the new version, the second paragraph almost totally different.

Though I'm originally from Eastern Europe, Chicago is the city that shaped me and served as the constant companion and backdrop to the drama of my life. I'm a very laid back person. I try to take the world in stride and keep an open mind about things. I can be a very spontaneous and fun companion if you chose to write me. I'm also known to “get ridiculous” and I'm certainly “guilty of having fun”. Like Redfoo, I also, on occasion, sport a crazy hair style. Indeed we have a few things in common, although I'm not nearly as famous as he is... YET. But, life is a stage and I try to play my part well. I'm a teacher at a community college and I love my job. I love mentoring and helping others. I can also be a bit of a nerd sometimes, so be prepared for that. Really, I love anything that allows me to be creative. Some of my hobbies include cycling, writing, improv, photography, experimenting with non-traditional foods and gardening.

I prefer the original version better than the second one. It has more spunk! Especially the "as much fun as not working" part. Dunno why, but I like that.

A guy with a sense of humor makes me weak in the knees. When I find a profile that causes me to giggle out loud as I'm reading it, I'm gonna poke you ;)

Good job and good luck!

Interesting, I thought that one a bit chaotic. Maybe that's a good thing? Do I sound like a square in a suit commuting home on a train in the second version?

This is the final version. I've been so busy with other stuff but today I decided to actually set up my profile. Here is my final description. What do you all think?

Though I'm originally from Europe, Chicago is the city that shaped me and served as the constant companion and backdrop to the drama of my life. Culturally I'm the best of both worlds, a real European Cowboy. Interestingly, despite having spent a great deal of my life in this city, I feel there is much I don't know about my home town. I’m looking for a fellow-explorer. Maybe you’re new to this town or maybe you’re like me. Either way, we can go exploring this great big town together like Lewis and Clark, or maybe you’d prefer Bonnie and Clyde. That being said, this city can only offer so much. I have travelled in the past, I’ve been to Denmark and elsewhere in Europe, but the world is so big and there is so much to see. I’m down for a trip, be it on a bike or across a pond or two.

I jest about the cowboy thing though, originally I wanted to put “Dracula cowboy” because I'm from the east. It’s something I heard in a movie once and it made me laugh, so I thought I'd share it.

Well, enough about how I relate to my environment, let's talk about the actual me. Comedy is my life. No, I'm not some sort of crazy comedian. I don't particularly like comedians in general, but I can stand people who take the world too seriously even less. Life is too short for that. I'm known to “get ridiculous” and I'm certainly “guilty of having fun”. Like Redfoo, I also sport a wild haircut on occasion. But, I know what's important in life and I try to keep those proverbial ducks in a row as best as I can. I have a good job, I love it and I have lots of fun there. In fact, I have as much fun at my job as I do when not working. My job is a stage, I teach. I can be creative, and that's something I value a lot, the freedom to be creative. I like science, art, improv, writing, sharing ideas, mentoring, contributing and creating things that are bigger than my own experience. I also like staying in shape. I like cycling, hiking, running. I also enjoy experimenting with non-traditional foods, etc...

People have told me I’m fun to be around. Well, if you think I’m your type of guy, don’t hesitate to write me.

The profile is all about YOU. How about saying something - anything - about the type of girl you might like to meet... Physical attributes? Age? Complements or differences that work for you?

Project a little.

Your profile could win the Nobel Prize for Literature but you still need at least one clear head shot (no sunglasses or hat) and a current, clear body shot wearing clothes that fit and skim your body to show it off
