Don't you pick up the kids at 2:30? I thought there were tasks you were expected to do around the house after you dropped them off in the morning - I think you mentioned putting laundry away or something.

No harm in checking it out of course. And no, you won't necessarily get bitten; I'm sure the goal is to learn how to avoid that!

I get home at 8.15 am.

I have to leave the house at 2.45 to 2.55 latest. To then drive to pick up one child

I think I'll just look for weekend shifts at the same patisserie chain but closer to home.

I got told that I got the job at one of the Italian restaurants I trialled at. They said u had a bright future with them and that I seemed experienced.

I never heard from them. They said they would call me the next day to put me on their roster.

I am going in tonight to ask if there is still a position available.

e Italian restaurants manager said that the reason they didn't get back to me was because they needed someone to work 4 days a week Plus weekends and I was only able to do weekends. So they found someone who could work 6 days a week.

He said he would have employed me had I been able to work more. But he may also have just not wanted to tell me that I wasn't good enough and instead used the hours as a convennient excuse as to not hire me. Although in the interview he did say he needed me to work weeknights but he still went ahead and gave me the trial....

The fish and chip shop is still hiring. The manager offered me a trial. The put on two people and are still looking for new staff. Fingers crossed that I can get two shifts a week.

I feel a lot better since the weekened job laid me off. Working seven days a week was running me down.

I was unaware you'd been laid off from the patisserie; I thought you had willingly cut your hours. Weren't you there when they opened? I thought I recalled them calling you in to help startup. Seems odd they would lay you off.

But you'll find something closer, and soon. Good luck!

On topic posts please, thanks

At this point is can be posts loosely around the dog walking but the primary focus of the posts should be dog walking.

Why not try to find one job? May be easier than all this rushing around, chasing our canine friends around the park whilst juggling cakes and children.

The position involves 4 hours of walking 4 days a week from 10 until 2;30, the only time I am available during the day.

I don't study until September remember.....

I prob wont get it though but I applied anyways:lmao:

This seems like a lot to take on. You'll be working essentially a 13 hour day (assuming 7 a.m. until 8 p.m.) with very little time for break when you combine this with your nanny job.
