Guitarisgood Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 It's been on and off with her and me. So lately she has been trying so hard to get my attention. I was teasing her and she teased back how she loved me. Later on I was trying to organise our next gym session and she was telling me some quirky thing she had done. Thats when I stupidly replied, 'Oh ... I love you sometimes haha' in that sarcastic kind of way. Do you guys think this was overkill to have used it? Maybe she will overthink and take this the wrong way? It almost sounded weird used in that reply and I don't know why I did besides because she did before. A couple more long exchanges and then the conversation died out. I'll see her tomorow. This is the stupidest thing I've said to date and I guess the one shimmer of emotion that I've actually let out.
morrowrd Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Don't make a mountain out of a mole hill. Sometimes, stuff like this happens, especially during texting. Just go with the flow, joke a little less like that until things are on more sure footing. And most importantly, don't bring it up, don't apologize, minimize the event and it will go away, like smoke.
Gaeta Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Don't worry about it. We all say awkward things at some point and if the person likes us then they see past it pretty quickly. What you said is nothing to have someone run off.
Strength in Healing Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Lmao eh I've said my fair share of things that kill off the attraction don't feel bad hahahaha
Author Guitarisgood Posted June 22, 2014 Author Posted June 22, 2014 Thanks guys. Yeah def taking your advices. On a side note - can you explain the chick that does not send good night texts but simply waits til the next morning to reply to you as if to continue the exchange? Sometimes I've waited for that goodnight so I can kill off a conversation only for them to carry it the next day.

Sometimes I've waited for that goodnight so I can kill off a conversation only for them to carry it the next day. If I see the good night too late I don't reply in case the person went to bed. A text will awake me so I assume I am not the only one sensitive to their phone sound.
HeartbrokenNewbie Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Yea cos she wants to continue the next day & if she says goodnight then convo is over and she would have to think up something new to text the next day but it's smoother by continuing a conversation x
