Summer time..........ladies how often do you shave your armpits?

The reason being, is that in the winter my wife will let things go a bit. She's wearing long sleeve shirts, or sweaters. It doesn't bother me at all. Sometimes she has more than stuble under her arms but she'll get around to shaving it.

In the summer she tends to do it more often because she's wearing tank tops and such. Swimming and so on. She's a blonde, she has light hair. Under her arms is darker but it isn't as dark as some women. She lets it go a lot less although it isn't always 100% smooth all the time. She forgets I guess.

Sometimes I think she forgets that it's summer. So my question is, ladies, how often do you shave under there in the summer? Or winter? Is it important to have it smooth 100% of the time in the summer? For the guys, does it bother you if a woman isn't 100% smooth under there? Is a little stuble a big deal to you? Does it turn you on/off?

My guy doesn't really care. I shave every day in the summer - in the winter, maybe every few days. At any rate shaving will never make it 100% smooth, if you have a normal hair growth rate - there will usually be fine stubble within hours. Some women wax their armpits because of this, but the thought of waxing such a sensitive area squicks the hell outta me.

I shave every day pretty much all year around. Of course, we have summer weather all year around here, so . . . When I lived in a colder climate, I may have let it go for a few days at times in the wintertime, but no more than that.

I never shave. I wax.

I'd say I do it every... couple of months? Truth be told, I barely have any hair in my armpits, so even at the 2 month mark, when they're fully grown, you need to have your nose in my armpit to actually see them. There's literally about 30 hairs under each arm!

I do it more frequently in the summer than in winter. If I'm not having regular sex, I sometimes go a few months without waxing. Even in my legs, I don't really have that much hair, and in winter, with tights or trousers, you can't see them at all.

I do mine always no matter the season.

I am actually doing the laser treatment at moment to remove them completely so now i can only shave them otherwise i prefer waxing which last longer.

it also depends of what i do like if I go to gym/swimming pool than i like to be shaved like now for example i shave every couple of days because i wear tank top or short sleeve T-shirt most of the time

I am blondish but quite hairy so I have to keep it under control!

It was so cheap to get it lasered off, I went for it. I'd shave at least every other days in summer, because my hair is dark. A little razor burn + deodorant + high temps and humidity? Yuck. Did it for enough years, done. Baby smooth.

I shave it probably every other day regardless time of the year because I go to the gym and wear vests, etc. Lasering is a good idea though. That's the only spot that I don't wax.

did you do the laser? how many sessions did you have before starting to see results? I have done only 1 at moment but i had already 6 sessions of IPL before try the laser.

I am not longer shaving/waxing my legs very often after the IPL and if I do it is like once every 2 weeks which for me is GREAT!

She might have hit my armpits four or five times to get it all. It's all about getting hairs in different stages of growth. If they were all the same, one session would do it. I don't have a good memory of it specifically, as she threw it in as part of my leg package, which was the MUCH bigger work area.

Shave my legs and underarms every day... bikini wax all throughout the year. There is no excuse for poor grooming (excepting, of course, folks who do not believe in hair removal at all)

Every other day unless I'm going to the beach or modeling.

twice a week, year-round. my skin is too sensitive to shave any more frequently than that. i'll end up with red bumps from the razor.i'm lucky i have light body hair, so you can't really tell if my legs have a slight bit of stubble. as for my armpits, i try to plan around what i'll be wearing so if i plan on wearing something sleeveless, i do it when they're freshly shaved. but even after 3 days, the stubble isn't that noticeable. i think a lot of it depends on a person's skin/hair coloring.

I don't shave my pits. I stopped a few months ago. I did this earlier in my youth for about three years. I shave everything else, but shaving my pits is just a bother. I don't grow some massive bush under my pits but there's definitely a decent amount of hair. I don't have any thoughts on shaving my pits any time soon, but I'm sure I'll resume it at some point.

Armpits I shave every day in the shower, all year. It takes all of 10 seconds each. I make it a high priority because I have a tendency to get body odor, and removing the hair makes that easier to control.

Every few days. A tiny bit of stubble is hard to notice unless you have really dark hair (or are walking around with your arms up)!

OH doesn't care, so far as I can tell. It's not like he touches my armpits much.

I don't mind if my OH has a bit of face stubble, either. Mmmm, sexy. :p

I shave every day year round (except when sick). I cannot stand the feeling of any sort of stubble anywhere.

Never shave. I don't see the point in it, any more than I'd ask my husband to shave his - unless there's body odor involved, but there never is. It's not that prominent and no one has ever complained.
