bafflio Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 TLDR: Had a fight, haven't heard back for a couple of days since my last text. How soon do I text/call again? So my date from OLD was offended that I didn't remember her job during the date (she had two jobs, I remembered one) from her profile (via text). I texted her she also forgot mine (my band project) , to which she replied that she didn't, but she didn't get to bring it up that much. Then I replied (text) her how I am more of an in-person guy, I remember not just the convo but also her flower on her head, her eyes, voice, smell and lips (we kissed after our first date). Haven't heard back from her since this last reply. I understand where she's coming from but I thought it was a little going far. If there was one thing I messed up it was after kiss right before she got on to the bus I called her name but she didn't hear - so I called her name again and said 'NAME, right?' That right part was bad.. it just came out. I'm not sure her complaint was about this really..
Philosoraptor Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Seems like she is easily offended by trivial things. I'd move on to the next one. 2
clia Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 It's been two days. Call her and ask her out for this weekend. You have nothing to lose.
mammasita Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 So, she's mad beacuse you didn't remember her job after a FIRST date and your question is how soon should you call her? How about NEVER. If she's upset about you forgetting something after a first meeting then she has issues IMO. 2
d0nnivain Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Why would you want to? You two didn't know each other well enough for you to required to remember things beyond her name. You are not obligated to memorize somebody's profile. She sounds like somebody you don't need in your life. If you really want to unwisely persue this, send her something pithy about her profession to show that you are making an effort to remember. 1
Zahara Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Really? What happens when you are in a relationship with her? You'll be walking on eggshells if you have to deal with such extreme sensitivity. 1
TXGuy Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 I agree with everyone above. She is more trouble than she is worth. If you feel like you absolutely have to send her an email, send this one: 'Hey Donna, sorry about not remembering your second job. ;-)'. (Assuming her name is not Donna). She will either fall in line or blow up and end it. Either way, you win.
DarkKnight1 Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Why In The Hell is Taking About A Job Relevant To Getting To Know Her? You've Just Met And I Assume you Dont Really Care About All that ish.

If you didn't remember she had two kids.. I can see why she would be rubbed off the wrong way... but a second job?.. I agree.. move on to the next one.
Author bafflio Posted June 18, 2014 Author Posted June 18, 2014 One funny thing is the name of the book was 'Great Expectations'... and just right after I told her I remembered it she said that. Any chance she was just playing around?
veggirl Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 She's a complete drama queen. Delete all her contact info.
