Wisecrack Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Last year, I had basically a week or so fling with a girl from my degree until I caught her french kissing another guy. It didn't work out in the end. She ditched me even if I was willing to try and sort something out; and her saying she thought we were exclusive when we first talked about the incident. Long short, we left on good terms. Well I thought we did until we've started university again. I'll smile if I bump into her while she acts awkward/ looks away. Furthermore she has deleted me off facebook which I found wierd - heck I was the one hurt was I not? I'm pretty well regarded at university; popularity and education wise getting along well with everyone while representing the student body. Furthermore we are a pretty tight knit group of students so rumors spread like wild fire. Recently I have gotten really close to a chick in my year and feel there is something there I really want to pursue. My friends have warned me now (they don't know of the first chick) that I have to be very very very careful. If all goes sour, I'd lose much more than my reputation. So this is my conundrum. I really like this girl and I don't see myself dating anyone else after should anything happen sour (I've promised myself this). She's someone I'd risk it and see something long term. Yet on the other side, I still have my cobwebs of this other chick who now seems to hate me and if word gets out of either, things will not end well. What would you guys do?
