Why is the girl being distant even though hanging out with her went really well?

Hung out with this girl for the third time last Tuesday. Chilled at her place and went really well. Cuddled whole time, kissed, light touching, etc. But pretty much since that night, she has been pretty distant and can't figure out why. Didn't contact her the next day, texted a few times Thurs. Called once Fri and Sat but no answer/no call back. Didn't try yest and now it's today. I did meet her on a dating site and noticed she hadn't been on it for a solid week until I saw her on it last night. So what gives? A little background on her...was with someone for 8 years until last Nov, divorce finalized next month. She said she wants to take things slow, but that was said the night before I layed with her all night lol. Did do a little research online and a few said that girls sometime completely back off if they start falling. That true? Why? Another thing is like the first time we hung out she was saying how she doesn't play games and would say if she wasn't interested and she was acting distant 2 weekends ago and when we did finally talk I asked her if she wasn't that interested and she said she would of told me she wasn't. Any insight?
