Author Thicke2013 Posted July 16, 2014 Author Posted July 16, 2014 Okay, a quick update for those who are interested and have been kind enough to offer your advise. Thank you for that first of all. FTL son is at a job today! His 2nd day of work! It is at a car wash and I don't think he makes much money, but hey, it's a start. My fiance' pretty much told him if he didn't go get this job that he could move out immediately. She also told him that he should be looking for a place to live. We have listed her condo for sale and are actively looking for houses. We have looked at 5-6 so far and are looking at 2 more tonight. I see a change in her and her attitude towards him. Typically, when she would try to have these talks with him, he would eventually get loud and she would shut down and basically the talk would end. This last time, he got loud (I was in the other room) and she calmly asked him to sit and told him that they were going to have an adult conversation about this and no one was going to get loud. It worked and they had a productive conversation. Things are looking positive! 1
