Hell in general it's always the few that ruin it for the many that genuinely have good intentions or are honest about their intentions.

How does one not let the actions of a few affect how they deal with a new person in their life?

This is true with every system in life. Take automobile insurance, for example. The wreckless people who can't drive and get into repeated accidents wind up raising the insurance rates for everyone else. Just a fact of life, I guess.

Yeah that is a good idea. If you look up here most of the people that have issues with the opposite sex are just dealing with the few. I will say there are genuinely good people out here but the negativity leaves a more lasting mark than the positivity sometimes. The cheater, gameplayer, golddigger, player, liar, etc leave a stronger mark than the person that would treat you right. We all go on expecting someone to f**k us over. Hell you see it with some users up here that constantly gripe about the opposite sex. It's usually the same gripes
