Im about ready to give up. If she wont go out with me this summer then heck with it. I'll never get a pretty looking gf. Oh well at least I can save money. :D What should I tell my Phychatrist when I see him this week?

I've only been really looking for about 2 months, but I'm starting to wonder what the heck I'm doing too.

I really think it's about being in the right place at the right time. Cupid doesn't come when it's called. Really wish that wasn't true.

Go on a selfish kick for a month (no chicks)? I would hate to think of this year as being a lonely one, but one has to take care of himself....

I think you should put a lockdown on yourself and do some self discovery and some growing up. Step back and take alook at yourself, from the outside in.

If you were a girl, would you date you? Honestly? And why/why not?

oh come on MidWest guy!!!!!!

It has been hmmm 11 months since I gave him his ultimaium and just hmmm 3 months since my divorce and I am trying to date!

Give yourself time it just isn't the right thing for many to jump right back into dating early after a break-up!

Find happiness within you first the rest will flow!

Well Im still upset not gettting Lindsay. It will take alot of time to get over.

Take time out from dating and let yourself heal and figure out things. Who knows? Things usually happen when you least expect them too.

tell your shrink that you believe you may be ready to dating within your own league. that now, instead of shooting for gurls you cannot have you will start approaching the ones that maybe you can have.

I never had a problem getting over someone I didn't get - the problem is getting over the ones you do get.

Yeah. You really don't know someone until you've really been with them for a long time. Then it's hard getting over them.

Maybe it's best this one got away? It's almost impossible to know.

I don't know MidwestGuy, I think you are giving up a little early on this one. Consider obsessing over her some more and stalking her for a few more months, then it's time to move on.

i agree VB...for MIDWESTGUY to give up before summer's end would be a travesty of justice! :p

You opened yourself up for this one.

Tell him that you have a hard time letting go of things.

Tell him you're a little territorial.

And a little on the obsessive/possessive/stalker side.

Then ask if he has a single daughter.

Then you must like the drama that comes along with the "Pretty Girl" cause they go hand in hand.

Yeah, women like men with confidence. Not jealous, insecure, possessive ones. :)

I mean why didnt she like the attention I gave her all the time for? She doesnt date she told me the other day too.

She loved the attention... when she wasn't getting it or when it was NEW to her. But after so much attention, it's no fun for her. You are no longer a challenge in her eyes... so in turn, she ups and leaves, looking for someone new....a 'challenge' to give her more attention. Bottomline.... You were too easy. Hey, it's ok to be nice... but there IS such a thing as being TOO NICE!!! ya gotta know when to pull back a bit.

When a girl that is giving you a hard time speaks to you.... don't listen to her words. Because all she is really saying is Blah Blah Blah... that's what you should hear. Blah Blah Blah.

Forget her words... especially if they don't match with her actions. :D
