Sponge_Cake Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 In my LDR, we are lucky because we get to see each other every 2/3 weeks. We live around 5 hours apart and in the same country with no borders or sea in the way. The only issue is that I feel as though I'm doing all the chasing most of the time. When we are together, it's is lovely and perfect and everything I could ever want. However, when we are apart, I feel as though it is me contacting him first most of the time. I always seem to ask him "Shall we talk on Skype tonight?" He normally always says yes but I am thinking why wouldn't he say the same to me? He very rarely texts and doesn't always have his phone on him...I text him when I'm at work and I get very sparse replies. We do talk everyday but I always feel I am initiating it. Anyone else in a similar situation?

justwhoiam Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 why wouldn't he say the same to me? Did you ask him? You definitely need an answer to that question. Anyone else in a similar situation? I was in a reverse situation. He was bothered by that. But I used to tell him I preferred it that way. I'm a woman, and I felt more confortable if it was him contacting me when he was free, instead of risking being rejected because he was busy. It worked like that for quite a while. Not anymore. We are at a different stage now. A more mature relationship.
