What do you love best about your love interest or significant other? Mine has gorgeous eyes. He makes great pancakes. He's a great singer! I bet he'll sing to his future progeny and if I get drunk and ballsy enough I may even ask him to sing me a lullaby sometime. He's got a cute chuckle. He's generous and opens doors for the ladies. He's well spoken and well-written, which is a major turn on for Undergraduate English Literature degreed geek in me. He has a great sense of humor bordering insanity, which is just how I like it. He has a certain engaging rock-star quality. He has some great friends who are friendly and made an effort to get to know me- ya'll know how that can be hard to find. Next?

He purses his lips in the cutest way when he's concentrating on something. I can tell he's lying (jokingly) by the way his nostrils flare the tiniest little bit. He's smarter than me, which I love. He's ambitious as hell, has amazing social skills and my family loves him. He loves me with all his heart!! We are in NC and doing our own thing and eventual either she will call or I will call her. its a stupid f***ing game to get one up on the other. we're both commitment phobes and crave independence but the magic is all there. the v-day we spent 2 yrs ago in 2003, she said it was the best v-day she ever had. i miss her but i'm not giving in yet. hmmm...lets see...what was special about her - she had beautiful blue eyes and blonde hair - she was a bitch from hell and a saint all rolled in one - she was a size four with legs that would make a man cry - she drove me crazy and insane - her smile could light up a room and drive a man wild - she's a big flirt - her skin is soft as rose petals - she made the best meat and potato dishes - her kids were her world - she would wear outfits that i asked her to, i.e. my fave dresses/shoes/skirts, etc - we loved to get drunk together - we could laugh together - we could fight together - she was gorgeous and she knew it - she wasn't the smartest but she knew how to handle people there's a hundred others i can't think of.

I'm on friendly terms with some of my exes, but that came about several months after the breakup after an extended period of NC. It's definitely beneficial to get some distance from the relationship and lick your wounds for a while before attempting any sort of friendly communication.

quankanne Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 best things about my guy he still holds my hand and kisses me in public after all these years ... his sense of humor can be goofier than mine ... he laughs at my goofy jokes ... he'll end conversations with a kiss nearly every time we talk on the phone, unless he's really, really pissed at me ... he cooks ... he cleans the cat's litter box ... he's a chocolate junkie, too ... he doesn't mind hitting WalMart at 11 p.m. or going to flea markets ... he doesn't gripe when I tell him I want to go exploring when we drive someplace ... he's the best dang kisser I've ever met, and he's pretty good at quanking, too!

He rubs my back, legs and feet for as long as we're on the couch. Sometimes ten minutes, sometimes five hours. He knows all my favorite food. He cleans the house. He goes grocery shopping. He cooks gourmet dinners and lets me pick out the recipe every time he cooks. He's extremely intelligent. He's very childlike. He loves to snuggle. He sleeps with stuffed animals. He's extremely affectionate and must always be touching me or holding my hand, no matter where we are. He laughs at my jokes. He inscribes presents with his pet name for me. He likes computer games. He reads more than I do (which is a lot!). He thinks it's cute when I toot-toot! He forgave me for my affair. Where do I put the list of things I hate?
