Hi lovely people,

 

English is not my mother tongue and I could use some help understanding a certain song..

 

this is my situation (try to keep it short):

I dated a girl for a couple of month, we got emotionally very, very close (e.g., holding hands, she told me she rlly rlly likes me, very emotional physical contact,, etc.).. and she basically cheated on me (even though we we were not together, I asked her once but she refused). . it ripped my heart out and I completely shut down, we didn't have contact for about 2 weeks. Now she sent me this song and told me she feels exactly this way.

I don't know what "I got you" means.. can somebody please explain?

 

And I also do not get this passage:

Is she implying I should chase her before she ****s everybody else and her feelings for me change? I mean, she already HAD all my love, I don't get it

 

I would very much appreciate it, if somebody could help me.. I feel so confused and hurt right now. . and do not want to reply to her if she really wants me to chase her

I'd be more focused on the "I don't care about nobody else" lyric. At least she's honest. Time to walk away.

I still don't get it. Exactly, she ****ed up, why should I chase her? Shouldn't it be the other way around?
