Bonnie Potter Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 (edited) My boyfriend left on a trip recently and one of his friends (a guy I met only twice) asked me if I wanted to take a comedy class with him at a local club. WTF? Edited June 9, 2014 by Bonnie Potter
J2911 Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 That is odd on one hand unless you are both really funny people and he got the ok from your bf to ask you that question bc you both are interested in doing that one day . I don't know
gaius Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 Nothing, he's a normal guy. Trying to bonk you to one up his buddy while he's out of town. 1
MidwestUSA Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 Looks like you're free to date this guy now that you broke up with your boyfriend via that note in the DVD. I wonder if he found it?
d0nnivain Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 Doing stand up comedy is a very difficult. To be any good you really have to expose yourself. He may have simply wanted a friendly face / known quantity when he did so but as others have said, it's more probable that he was testing the waters to see if you were free. If you want to take the class, go ahead but keep an eye on him.
shet Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 Not necessarily anything. Are you supposed to not be friends with his friends?
