Girl is texting my boyfriend...why?

My boyfriend and I have been together for 6 months and are very much in love. I was actually his huge high school crush (that began about 5 years ago) and it was only last year that we really began talking and decided to date. Our relationship has been amazing.

 

Before he dated me, and before we began talking, he told me that he met this girl through church who lived in another state and they would video chat, text, and call each other. Eventually they began flirting but after a while he realized she was very clingy and annoying and would never dream of dating her. Few months go by and him and I began to talk and here we are today.

 

Once she found out he had a girlfriend she freaked out and was saying things like "how could you do this to me?" They were never even dating!!!

 

He told her to "f*** off" and to never talk to him again.

 

This happened a few times where she would try to message him and he would tell her to leave him alone (using a lot of cursing). He blocked her on all social media as well and I plan on having him block her number tomorrow....

 

because she still texts him "hi" out of nowhere and just now sent "so you're ignoring me now?"

 

I do not understand what this girl's issue is. They never dated, he clearly told her he wanted her to "leave him the f*** alone!", and to top it all of she even has a boyfriend!!!

 

I've told my boyfriend to just ignore her because it seems she is looking for a reaction from him, which is always extreme anger.

 

Does anyone have any clue why this stupid girl would keep trying to message my boyfriend after over 6 months of him ignoring her?

Who cares what her motives are, your bf seems to be doing a fine job himself telling her to go away, and hes expressed clearly hes not interested in her I don't see a problem.
