If someone got you into life altering TROUBLE based on lies? And it was someone you thought highly of? How likely would you be to forgive?

Posted

Honestly

There isn't enough info here to go on.

But probably not

If someone got me into life alering trouble, i would accept responsibility for any trouble i was in.I am assuming if i was in trouble it would be for a reason, I make my own choices in life, i do not blame others for trouble that is either life altering or small in stature. It is my concern not theirs so therefore with that in mind I would forgive.

If i were to give someone life altering trouble, i would go down with them i would also accept responsibility and i would stand beside them and undertake restitution and consequences.I never leave a fallen soldier and code of conduct is paramount. You dont drop people in the fire without expectation of not being burnt yourself, I would always take the fall i would not put someone intentionally in any position like that, if i did it is not one i would handle with out feeling an overwhelming desire to fix the issue i would also take responsibility and request that i be the one to fall not them i would conduct myself in this manner regardless of how i felt........deb

I've learned that learning to forgive others is one of the most rewarding journeys you'll ever make.

That's good

What sort of trouble are you talking about?

Try to remember - forgiveness does not equal forgetting.

Forgiveness is for you - far more than the receiver.

Carrying grudges, resentment, and anger is toxic to you. Not the person you hold it against.

You can forgive the choice, and not forget the action.

Tthis is truth so true red baron, because the more you forgive the more you are forgiven yourself, so it is a return journey where you can return home with peace in your heart and a cleared conscience gifted, that has grace all over it..
