Griesfootball Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Hi this is my first post. Tomorrow is 2 months since my ex broke up with me after 13 months. Her graduation is tomorrow. We haven't texted or talked in 3 weeks. I was supposed to be there until the breakup happened and all. I really want to see her graduate as she attended mine last year. I am looking to reconcile but I am not going to speak to her but to see her solely graduate because I do care about her. Is this an okay move to attend knowing that we won't run into each other? Last thing I want to do is make things worse/awkward
April Moon Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Hi Op!! Attending her graduation is a really bad idea. Even if you don't speak to her seeing her might bring up emotions that will be difficult during this time. You may still care for her but she might take this the wrong way...
veggirl Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 You will look so creepy just showing up at her graduation. If she wanted you there, she would invite you. An invite WHILE YOU WERE DATING doesn't count once you are BROKEN UP. Imagine her family spotting you and telling her you showed up. She'll think you are a creep!
erklat Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 You do not acknowledge her accomplishments or special days. Never. 1

What you were allowed to do while you were dating has been revoked the minute you guys broke up.
Author Griesfootball Posted June 7, 2014 Author Posted June 7, 2014 Hey everyone, the graduation is going on and I decided on second thought not to go. Mainly I wasn't invited by her, I can't afford a run in, and it's not fair to me when I think about it to go because I'm not obligated to, thanks for all inputs
