Targetlock Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 So i will hopefully be going to my third singles night on Friday night and for the first time i have a wingman this is taking place in a much larger town, so hopefully be a much larger turn out. i thought these events were worth another shot, especially with company so i won't be stuck alone like the last couple. Wish me luck, i will write what happens 2

Been a real busy week lately. :/ Good to hear you're going places. ^^ These things are much more enjoyable with a wingman, much agreed on that part. If it's taking place in a larger town, then chances are that there will be more people than in the small gatherings you've been to thus far. At any rate, good luck. Hopefully one of us will get the lucky break we've been waiting for. Honestly though, if I lived in the UK I wouldn't hesitate to tag along as your wingman, lol. 1

Author Targetlock Posted June 6, 2014 Author Posted June 6, 2014 Well i went to that singles night and just got back from it. what a strange thing those are, both me and my friend were both wondering what to do, it seemed most people already knew each other. around 50 people i think, only about a quarter of them women and most of them with people, though thank god for the good company, we still only lasted an hour and a half. we did have a good laugh trying to find the event in the first place well at least i wasn't the party weirdo or the party drunk. got to try something else it seems. 4

See how many different types of events and meetups you can find to go to. You never know, but it could be a fun adventure. 1

Yeah going to look at other events, but not going to try single nights events at least not ones through dating sites, maybe a speed dating event? might be worth a laugh And no i'm not going to give up and surrender, that isn't an option in my opinion. 2

Keep it up and you'll be in a relationship in no time. Makes you feel good too to just get out there try different things.

We notice a man who walks right up to us and introduces himself even if I'm with my girlfriends chatting. Even if a particular woman is not your match, other women will notice you. There's something attractive about a guy who takes command of his surroundings. Boys stand huddled together like at a school dance. Men break from the group and display initiative. You should have a goal of finding a way to chat with every woman in the room Its a confidence thing i guess, and the intimidating thing of approaching a one woman let alone a group of them!! at the event there seemed no easy to approach women at all because there weren't many of them and they seemed to already be with people or knew everybody else there. so yeah it is an awkward case of 'now what?'

That's good to hear. ^^ God damn, perhaps I should move over to the UK. At least on OLD there, there seem to be more women responding than all of those in Belgium combined.

At least on OLD there, there seem to be more women responding than all of those in Belgium combined. well i've messaged nearly a hundred women and got maybe 10 responses and only 5 of those have led somewhere. this is also interestingly the first response from an older woman (4 years older) because my dating history has all been my age or younger.
