digt Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 My ex GF of 1.5 yrs is now seeing a co worker after we've been split for a month. It hurts so much that we broke up but the pain and obsessive thoughts are made worse by the fact she is seeing a work "friend" They haven't announced it officially and he hasn't even talked to me about it but when they do it will be like going back to square one. I also feel like I'll have to avoid work social events otherwise I'll have to face them together. This is so hard to swallow. Has this happened to anyone else and how did you handle it?. we're both mid 20s
Author digt Posted June 3, 2014 Author Posted June 3, 2014 The worst thing is he was pursuing her whilst we were still together. I'm not saying that we were the perfect couple, and it is a two way street, but shouldn't he owe me at least an apology if not any loyalty? I really want to give him a piece of my mind

I really want to give him a piece of my mind The man was pursuing your ex while you both were still together. There was no loyalty, therefore the expectation you have in terms of an apology is unrealistic. This is your job. A workplace. A professional environment. Leave your personal feelings at home. Don't start drama that could possibly make your life even more difficult. This is what happens when you get involved with someone at work. There is no escaping it. You just have to will yourself to focus on your work responsibilities and nothing more. 1
