SillyGirl12003 Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 Okay so I have been NC with my Ex for over a month now. I am completely healed and don't think of him at all. At first he offered to be friends which I politely declined. Told him maybe but that's going to be my decision. So after 30 days or so of NC I've been on numerous dates and my ex has become a distant thought. So a little around 34 days of NC I get a call from my ex, I follow the rules to the T you know sound happy be polite, end the call first etc. He asks if friendship is still on the table for us. Since my feelings are pretty much non existent, I agree. I say sure, but let's just try for now , nothing set in stone, you know baby steps. Then he goes and tells me all about his hardships, how he's in a bad financial situation with the IRS, had to move back with his mom blah blah blah..after about 4 mminutes i end the call and encourage staying in touch. The following morning my ex calls me, I ignore. He then calls me a total of 12 times which all I ignore and leaves me 2 lengthy voicemails, basically saying good morning and what his plans are, and for me to enjoy my day. After about the 5th call I shut my phone off and I get the 2nd voicemail which is much of the same from the first although he adds, "I guess I've made someone mad i m sorry for invading your privacy" As if to imply that I have a man over. Lol Mind you he is the dumper. So how do I go about setting boundaries? Do I just ignore? I don't want to speak to him everyday. I want this to be something where we catch up maybe every few months or so. I do NOT WANT HIM BACK. his actions are implying that he's looking for something more than friendship.
elseaacych Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 He wants money from you, it looks like. Stay away, do not talk to him.
Bumaga vsyo sterpit Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 Then he goes and tells me all about his hardships, how he's in a bad financial situation with the IRS, had to move back with his mom blah blah blah.. This is 100% the reason he's trying to get you back. He's miserable.
