dunkindoughnuts Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 My ex gf broke up with me and said were just friends when I asked if there was someone else she said no but today I went to the mall with my friend and I saw her, tonbe sure my friend checked twice and he wasn't 100% sure but their actions said other wise, they walked away and looked in the direction I was at, then I was leaving and I saw her pushing this mans daughter in a stroller. I was beyond pissed, I felt like beating the guy into the ground, I've been in the gym since January and wanted to test my new strength, everyone told me not to do it (because I'm a good guy and it's not my character) and I haven't but I feel like sitting around doing nothing is stupid. I've been chillin with my friends since and I feel better but I'm so angry, I haven't texted her since last week, which is when I started NC but I just don't understand what I did wrong. They were outside my job, I can't imagine what would happen if I saw that while I was working. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks
nofeelings22 Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Why would you try to beat the guy up??? It's your ex girlfriend that did everything, not him. 6
Strength in Healing Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Why would you try to beat the guy up??? It's your ex girlfriend that did everything, not him. Nailed it. I feel you, though. Wanted to beat the hell out of the guy my ex of 4 years got with but... alas, in the end, the guy owes you nothing. It's her that did. 1
lauri Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 (edited) Want to know what real strength is? Having the ability to walk away from someone who you love and moving on. Having big muscles will never give you the strength to do that, only digging deep down inside would. I am greatful you didn't fight this guy - it would have made you look really weak to your ex girlfriend and would also probably make you end up with criminal charges. No girl is worth getting a record over bro, especially one that doesn't want to be with you. This guy probably didn't even know your existed ( I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt). You a way better then this...you've said you are a good guy and I truly believe you. So work on your self control and keep bettering yourself. Edited June 1, 2014 by lauri 2
No Limit Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Weird, usually cheaters don't go for the type with kids etc. I think you dodged a bullet, a major one. You don't need "women" like that.
Omei Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Im glad you did not beat him tho, you never know what story she's told him. And for the daughter all she would see is the man of her life being beaten and would be in such fear and helplessness. Good job walking away. 1
