PuppetLife Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 I did a really stupid decision. This morning, my friend ask for my selfies. I ask her why and she said a friend of hers saw my picture and want to see more. I know she is lying because it's just impossible. I ask her if it's a prank, she said it's not. So I send her one of my picture. And she ask for more, I ask her what is it for. She said she will explain later, but if I don't send them she will be dead. And I made a dumb decision of saying ok, and sending more of my pictures to her. She kept on asking for more, and more. she then ask me to record a video, saying "hi, I'm (a name)" and the name it's not my name. I then know that something it's not right. I said I can't send them unless she explain to me. She kept saying that she will explain to me later when she see me. And I insist not sending her a video lying about who I am. Now that I think about it, I'm really scared. What if she is using my picture to talk to some random people? And maybe she did or say something bad to them using my picture. People might spread rumors about me online, or if they see me on the street, they might come talk to me or beat me. They get back on me for whatever she did. I feel unsafe, is there anything I can do without making it a big deal?
bubbaganoosh Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 If you ask why and get a flimsy excuse with the promise of getting your answer later, then you asked for it. This reminds me of Lucy pulling the football away from Charlie Brown as soon as he's ready to kick it. 1
