You have to be an Established Member to have private messaging rights. I think that means a membership of at least 30 days and 50 or 100 posts (can't remember that part). The moderators can help you if you use the 'alert us' button.

You can start a thread about that too. Not sure how much one person's opinion helps you because everyone is different.

Generally speaking when a guy asks for advice from women, it's actually the other guys who offer the best advice. They have been there and done that, after all... whereas girls have a different perspective.

 

Same goes for women who ask for guys' opinions... though that happens much less frequently for some reason.

 

A young lion does not ask the zebras how to hunt zebra... he asks the older lions.

You can pay a fee to become a sustaining member & then you get immediate PM privileges.

 

 

Otherwise if you can post a thread you will get more people's help. Most of the time relationships & break ups have nuances. It's better to get a multitude of perspectives.

As the focus of LoveShack is peer to peer discussions between all registered members, I'll close this thread up and invite the thread starter to post up a interpersonal relationship topic thread in one of our forums and open it for discussion. As noted, if one wants immediate access to our private message system, it's 2.50USD minimum for a month's worth or, in the thread starter's case, more posts than they have now. Thanks!
