jjj1982 Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 Alright I'll try to keep this short. I was going out with this girl for a few months. She broke up with me suddenly at the beginning of January. I had kind of gotten over it and I met another girl at college and we started talking and we went out last weekend. I had a good time and felt somewhat of a connection with her. My ex just showed up at work yesterday and was flirting with me and crap. She gave me her new cell number and told me not to believe her friend who and told me my ex was seeing someone. She informed me she was still single. Then she said, "and if you're good maybe...." then she just winked at me. I'm really not sure if anything will come out of this a second time around. Should I tell the new girl about this. Will she get pissed and just think she's like my second choice. Because I'd go back out with my ex if that's what she's wanting. if that doesn't work I would definitely see this new girl. I'm not sure how to work this out. Suggestions?
Hund1976 Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 Well you should decide what you want to do first and then tell the girls of you choice. If you want to try to get back with your ex you should break up with the girl you have now. If you want to stay with the current girl then I wouldn't tell her that you were thinking about getting back with your ex.
Sukotto Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 Have both, as long as its nothing serious between you and the new girl. It will keep your ex on her toes if she wants to make it work, she'll put in more effort and attempt to win you back. If you tell the new girl then you'll find that she'll also attempt to keep you. Its a win win, though it depends on how the new girl would react to you dating a few people at the same time.
