Luna33 Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 According to my last experience, I went NC with a guy several times but always ended up talking again. Then he asked me out, allegedly, because I found out that he only wanted to hook up and I made it obvious. A day later, he tried to 'asked me out' again with a dull plan (didn't set place and time), which I refused politely after feeling he was testing me. I felt kinda stupid for not saying to go f*** himself, so cut him off right away. So, why a guy would keep testing even when he has a low interest? Did I do the correct thing, anyway? This had never happened to me before. :S
todreaminblue Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 when i read allegedly......i start to feel that you should be open and honest with him....as you alleged normally means someone else had said something and it isnt confirmed....chinese whispers..... if you politely refused on alleged info....its time to lay out your cards on the table and be direct no allegations...just honesty and respect.......he may very well like you and not to hook up...so face to face......set a date.....no bias no shame....just honesty...deb
slizl Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Because it is a fun game to him to see if he can get you. Case closed. 2
TXGuy Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 He asked you out the very next day, but his invitation wasn't up to your standards. I'm not sure it was necessarily a test. It could be that he was interested in seeing you again and wanted to see if you were interested as well. I think politely declining was a more appropriate response than 'go f@@@ yourself' would have been.
