So, around this time is when I'd always be talking to my ex about our day. Loneliness is creeping in. I know watching movies always helps to take my mind off of it....at least temporarily. I figured I'd open a post so people can name their favorite movies. I just watched swingers the other night, I highly recommend it. It's about a guy getting over his 5 yr. relationship...

Anyway, ANY suggestions are welcome...except romance movies. Or romantic comedies....I can't handle those right now. Death to "the notebook" ...haha

The Heat.

I don't have any recommendations for "relationship" movies, but I LOVE scary ones!!!!!!!!!!!! Hard to be sad when you're scared. I just have to make sure my shower curtains are open so I can see no one is in the tub then I have to jump into bed so nothing grabs my feet. But it's all good. :p

I recently discussed Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind in another thread. it's about people so desperate to get over relationships they have their memories erased.

Then there's Forgetting Sarah Marshall It's mostly from a guys perspective.

Closer, gets into the nitty-gritty of what broken relationships feel like.

The Doctor 1991 is a good film about cancer to remind you there are worse things we go through than broken hearts.

an easy way to keep your mind free is to have a project that takes a period of time , and try to work on it. i started doing art again. id lay in bed and draw a master piece graffiti and make it so detailed that it would keep my occupied for weeks. another thing i did was i would down load beat mixers and make my own beats , theres not a whole lot that can keep you forgetting a loss. my suggestion is to replace the piece of your life that is missing,

Lost: haha, so wierd. I actually have the movie Heat and was about to push play when I reopened this thread. You might have ESP

I think I'll go for Forgetting Sarah Marshall next.

I love scary movies....Have you seen the Conjuring?!? I watched that alone one night...gah. Oh and Sinister, that was pretty disturbing.

Sly, good ideas. I used to make my own jewelry, and still have tons of supplies. Maybe I'll reignite my dead etsy page.

Ps I wish you guys lived in Cincinnati, we couldve had slumber party or something....haha

Oh geez you have to watch it!! I watched it a few months ago...i felt like such a nerd because I watched it on my laptop and couldn't put it on full screen mostly because of the creepy ass doll in the beginning...

I also heard Insidious was ridiculously scary, but I'm not watching that alone...I've heard after you watch it you don't want to go into the bathroom. haha
