For those who have been betrayed, Do you think you overlooked the signs that your SO was cheating? What does a woman or man need to start investigating? Did you have the feeling but were afraid to face it?
pushing tin Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 let me give you the laundy list of things to look for: dramatic change in thier own looks. shave more often, work out ruitine ramps up, fresh hair cut, hair color, etc. sudden jump in cell phone bill. usually doubles in the first month. buys nice new underwear for self....and this is a a little out of character, beacause they are sexier than usual. will try them on in front of you to see if you approve how good they look. certain times where they don't pick up the cell phone. starts listeneing to a liitle different radio station or kind of music. when the cell phone rings, they grab it quickly, so you don't see the caller name or number. they get a little jumpy. loss of weight. shaves pubic hair, or gets a bikini wax. There are more...I will think of some.

I am wondering how much would it take a person to start investigating whether their SO is cheating or not. PT, I have read your story. What, in your opinion, would it take for your wife to have serious doubts and start seriously investigating?
StillHurtin Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 When H started wearing cologne to work and not wearing sweatshirts, and t-shirts anymore I had a feeling something was going on. He swore to me it was b/c of his promotion, that he had to dress nicer and wear cologne. I bought it and how stupid was that?!?! All along he was probably trying to impress the OW b/c a few months after his promotion he started his A w/ her.
