How I wish I was you.

I'm not saying that to be mean either, but things will look so differently in a year. Your perspective on the dumper will change.

Since when was this about me?

I stated there is no one size fits all solution (even if only 0.000001% doesn't fit) - this has nothing to do with my situation, nor even my personal view, only personal experiences of real world couples I've personally experienced.

Reading this thread, I feel like we need to collectively get together and make an objective breadcrumb decision tree to be pinned to the top of the forum.

Yeah, I've seen quite the number of threads involving talk about breadcrumbs and the same thing being said over and over so it'd be really nice to have a pinned topic about it.

Sorry, in near all real world experiences a dumper and dumpee getting back together in my experience has always been a mutual thing, either after bumping in to each other or having meaningless conversations. Yes it may be in the 0.00001% and no I'm not saying that to give anyone false hope, but yes, this is fact and I've experienced it with real life acquaintances.

In fact I've never known an actual situation for a dumper to rock up at someone's house serenading them at the window with a guitar... this isn't the movies. A text message saying "I WANT YOU BACKKKK" is the phone equivalent of the window serenading.

I may be clueless too, but I have never heard in my 35 years of any dumper who went all the way to get a dumpee back in his or her life. Perhaps Europeans are just different :)

Case in point.

My own sister got back together with an ex who cheated on her. It does happen people.

As Fred stated, you're not going to see many stories of reconciling on this forum simply because once you reconcile your focus is elsewhere. I'm sure the last thing on your mind is to say "oh! Let me go on loveshack and rub it in everyone's face"

I dont know where this whole "ex's dont get back together" crap came from because no one said that.

This thread jacking needs to stop because I highly doubt inlin created a thread about this and it now will probably get locked because of others.

Ah, such a blameless life.

You are defending that dumpers sometimes return because you are still

clinging onto hope your case will be the same.

It should make no difference for you. I wish only the best for all of you, but

when you defend such beliefs I see that you are still at a very bad place.

I was there not so long ago. :(

Good luck.
