I was lucky enough to have sex with a 27 year old when I was 17, so what is it about older women that I, as well as other young guys just go crazy for? Thanks! -Ryan

Women are generally in their psychical prime in their mid twenties (the age where they look the most attractive). So your attraction to these "older" women is normal. That's just what most men are attracted to no matter their age. If you had said you are attracted to women in their 50s, then I would find that intriguing. 1
carhill Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 OP, if you had an early crush on an older woman, like when you were 14, IMO it places an imprint, not so much of that particular person specifically, but rather the dynamic which impelled your emotions. An emotional tape of sorts. When interacting with older women whom you otherwise find attractive, the tape plays. If they were your own age, they'd still be attractive but not in the same way, since the tape is specific to their age. I glean this from your general focus on older women. In fact, your tape could have existed from an earlier age and it just isn't as evident as it apparently became at age 14 . Generally, such tapes start in pre-puberty when boys start noticing how their parts work and how the presence of different females affects them. It was quite common in my boyhood friend's circle for a young boy to get sexually aroused by an older (meaning adult) woman. I always saw it as perfectly normal. Obviously inappropriate at that age, but normal. Boys eyes become men's eyes. I'm sure there are other reasons but I'll offer up one from my life experiences.

J-lo still looks good for sure. To clarify, women reach physical beauty when they reach around 25, then they carry that beauty for a while. Some women can carry it way into their 40s, but many drop off in the 30s. Celebs are usually genetically gifted individuals, you can't base these on them since they have the genes and means to keep attractive for a long time. 1

RedRobin Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Well, there seem to be lots of women that age (17) having sex with men in their mid to late twenties, so maybe your experience isn't all that unusual. If you said you were having sex with women in their 30's and beyond when you were 17 I'd seriously worry about you. Same as I'd worry about women that young being with men that much older. As I said in a different thread... people are experimental at that age. Trying out different things. The real problems happen when it goes beyond just experimentation.

At your age, a women 30 years old is a good match because you are both around your sexual peak. a lot of older women different. some are looking for fun. others are looking to start a family. others are bitter bitches with too many hangups cause their 30 and still single. stay away from those lol! I met my older women: one at an art gallery during a show in the cafe; the other was a friend of my cousin at jazz night at the pub. in each senerio we talked about art and philosophy. women like to think that they are smart and pretty. you can make an older woman feel young again. she will make you feel mature. remember this important rule: no matter what, every women is just an insecure 14 year old girl.

There are exceptions. You can point them out all day long if you want, but if you are not like the exceptions......then I don't understand your point. The exceptions maintained fitness, but most people just get fat and a whole lot less attractive with age. Me, I like attractive women. They can be younger, older or my age. To tell the truth, I like the ones over 30 better that still look good. Aging is a slow process that everyone goes through, some people just look better doing it. Over 30 is when most people start losing their physical attractiveness if that hasn't already happened earlier. Hot women over 30? :love: Of course I should be held to the same. In my twenties I was rather nondescript and almost never dated. That's why you have to take attraction on a case by case basis. 2

I've only ended up dating younger women and that has never amounted to anything so maybe they are onto something?
