Kristine Posted February 9, 2005 Posted February 9, 2005 [color=indigo]The problem is I can't afford to move out right now or pay the mortgage myself. Feeling so stuck is causing me to fall into a state of depression. There isn't anything really horrible about my husband. I just really truely don't love him and after much contemplation have realized I married for the wrong reasons, all of which have come to bite me in the butt. Like he's been virtually unemployed for the last 2 years. He and my son argue constantly. It's not a healthy marriage and I want out, but can't figure out how to make it happen. Can you actually begin the divorce process while living together? The more I tell him I want a divorce the more loving and attentive he becomes, it's stiffeling. Any advice on how to do this? Pocky Posted February 9, 2005 Posted February 9, 2005 Have you reviewed divorce laws for your state? You should be able to find this information online.
SoleMate Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 If he also became more employed, would you want to stay married? If so, please try <URL removed> It's legally possible to divorce, while remaining joint proprietors of a property which you both inhabit...but this is rarely done because of the stress it puts on all involved.
