Britnay Posted February 7, 2001 Posted February 7, 2001 Last night my boyfriend and I made love and I blacked out for a second or two and nearly fainted. What could be the cause of this? It is the first time its ever happened but I do have high blood pressure so maybe it is connected. It also corresponded with a mind-blowing orgasm, but I have never heard of people fainting because of an orgasm!

While it's possible that it could be associated with an orgasm, I hardly think nature would provide for such a cruel device for people to miss out on the ultimate crown of sex. Losing consciousness can be due to something totally harmless but can also be related to a very serious medical condition. See a doctor promptly and explain the circumstances. This is not normal.
