KaylaP Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 This is so WEIRD! LMFAO! Ok so I was on FB last night & some weirdo hits me up with a message. I ignore him BUT...he then says he wants to send me money because I'm so cute & shyt. I was like HUH?! He asks me if I got paypal & I don't but he says that he'll send me a $100 everytime he gets paid just for being HOT! What do I do? Is this a setup? What kind of trap could it be? I wanna do it because I cant find a job & could really use the money if he's gonna be stupid & just give it to me for FREE! BUT...I don't wanna get myself into something I cant get out of.

I hope this isn't real. Do NOT do this. I don't know why you would even consider this as a plausible plan. Follow your instinct and do not get yourself into trouble. Block that creep. 1
Art_Critic Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 nothing more than a line.. he is using it as an icebreaker...a lame one.. block him....and don't give him your paypal email address... 4

Don't do it!! He might blackmail u into doing something terrible or make u do something u don't wanna do like strip or prostitute .
Author KaylaP Posted May 18, 2014 Author Posted May 18, 2014 nothing more than a line.. he is using it as an icebreaker...a lame one.. block him....and don't give him your paypal email address... Icebreaker how? Not getting it. What's the worse than can happen if he got my paypal address? LIKE what can he do with it?? NO I'm not gonna prostitute LMAO. Its not like he can make me do that.
xxoo Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 Don't give him any personal info. It's a nice breaker because it's an opening to communicating with you. Even if he never sends a dime, he has your attention, doesn't he?
HeartbrokenNewbie Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 He cant do anything with your PP email address not without the password but this does sound a bit odd! x
Author KaylaP Posted May 18, 2014 Author Posted May 18, 2014 He cant do anything with your PP email address not without the password but this does sound a bit odd! x HELL YEA! BUT...at the same time I don't mind getting paid to do NOTHING. I mean, if he doesn't send shyt then I could just block him after that.
jay1983 Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 I don't know if he's just stupid desperate or has some kind of plan to do something. Either way don't do it, too much risk.
Author KaylaP Posted May 18, 2014 Author Posted May 18, 2014 I don't know if he's just stupid desperate or has some kind of plan to do something. Either way don't do it, too much risk. I know he's a desperate JERK but what kinds of risk? No one has even told me yet & I'm still waiting...?
jay1983 Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 I know he's a desperate JERK but what kinds of risk? No one has even told me yet & I'm still waiting...? IDK WTF he has planned. If he's trying to do something this stupid to get you to like him, he'll probably do something REALLY crazy when figures out you'll never like him. You haven't heard any crazy stories in the news or seen a movie/show based on some real life sh*t? 2
StanMusial Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 He could use your Paypal information to generate a legitimate-looking email asking you to sign in. When you click on the link, you would be redirected to a fake login page where he would steal your password. It's a phishing scam. Don't do it. No one in their right mind pays a girl just for being cute. That's not normal behavior. 3

2sunny Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 Your looks shouldn't be the highlight of who you are as a person. Any man that only focuses on your looks is asking for permission to degrade you. Your beauty should be within. Tell that creep NO! And block him! 1

Any man that only focuses on your looks is asking for permission to degrade you. Your beauty should be within. Tell that creep NO! And block him! I know he's a ****ing CREEP! I never had a guy just THROW $$ at me for being pretty. ITS WEIRD. I did have a guy bother me in a park one time when I was 13 THEN he asks to take me CLOTHES SHOPPING! He was like 25-30 or something. UGH! SO MANY PERVERTS NOW!
jay1983 Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 LMAO not with paypal. I don't even got it so who cares right? I could do SO MUCH with a $100 though. Have you heard stories about con artists and nigerian scammers? They have so many different tricks, every week it's a new story of some clever way they did it this time. Let's say you take the $100 then take another and another. He's asks to meet you, you decline, he gets pissed, starts searching your name, trying to find out where you live. You know there are a couple of different softwares that attorneys use to find people? Or just take the money if you want, makes no difference in MY life 1
xxoo Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 I know he's a desperate JERK but what kinds of risk? No one has even told me yet & I'm still waiting...? What you know: he's desperate and a jerk. What you don't know: what he might try after you send info and/or accept money from him. Is 100 dollars worth being associated with this person? At my age, I say no way. 3
jay1983 Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 What you know: he's desperate and a jerk. [/b] I think that jerk part was directed toward me.

ja123 Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 Ask him if he's into BDSM and likes financial domination. 2
Omei Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 Nothing is for free.... I agree its an icebreaker the "pretty" part if you were to accept his offer he would realize how desperate you are and would soon follow up with suggestions of sexual favors for cash most likely. 1
michellew Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 This is definitely a phishing scam. Please don't fall for it! 1
gaius Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 There's a lot of weirdness out there that's rarely talked about. I've heard stories of guys paying for the privilege of being able to scrub out their crushes toilet with their own toothbrush. So a guy sending you money cause he finds you hot doesn't seem that far out there all things considered. I say go for it. Easy enough to avoid a phishing scam if that's what it turns out to be. And every girl deserves at least one desperate loser sending her free stuff and money during her lifetime. 1
Lani Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 General life rule... If something sounds too good to be true, then it usually is. If you give this guy your PayPal details and he manages to scam you, then you've got nobody to blame but yourself. Make a sensible decision here. 1
