Getting Unwanted Spam Messages From My Friend

Ever since I have distanced myself from my friend because of her own mental/emotional self caused issues, I have been getting spam text messages from her several times every day at odd hours.

 

Could this be a coincidence? Has her phone been hacked? Or is she doing this on purpose because she's p*ssed at me?

 

I now have to resort to blocking her and her number has been marked as a spammer in order to have peace of mind and have a relatively clean inbox.

 

What are your thoughts? I always seem to attract the crazies!

Sounds like she may have been hacked, but if it's intentional, either way you block her.
