Ok so we broke up about 5 weeks ago from a 4 year relationship. She broke up with me and we haven't talked since except when she texted me on my college graduation. Anyways my mom ordered her a monogrammed hat with her initials and her sorority letters. Right after she ordered it we broke up and it came In about a week ago. It's in my room put away because I didn't want to give it to her but my mom spent money on it and no one can wear it but her. Should I give it to her or just throw it away. Also if I give it to her how should I go about that? Thanks!

I would say no dont send it, even if you dont mean it to, it could and probably will come across as a pathetic attempt to remain in her life and get her to talk to you.

if you HAVE to send it then MAIL IT through the post with no letter or note attached.

Just trash it do nothing no good will come from it but tears and confusion, your mom spent the money but that's too bad **** happens.

What do you think..?? if you feel that its okay to give her and she will accept it then you should give her otherwise throw it away, no need to give her..

If your mom and your ex were close, have her mail it to her herself.

Otherwise donate it or trash it. Or let your mom keep it for whatever reason lol

It sounds like the hat is cursed.

Burn it.

Find a hot girl with the same initials to donate it to.

It depends on how close your ex and mother were. If anything, have your mom mail it.

Mom should mail it.

Your mom can mail it. Your mom spent the money on it and if she's fine with you dumping it, then dump it.

It depends on how you really feel about the situation , if you're still on good terms , you could get your mom to send it to her as she may take it as a token of an attempt to get back together.
