lastniteshesaid Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Hey guys! ok, if I tell the whole story it'll be too long and boring, so in short words, this guy, who works in a store, started flirting with me and I slowly got into him too. He once gave me a kiss on the cheek out of nowhere. And a few days ago we talked for long minutes. A customer came over looking for him, and he asked me to wait, and we kept talking more and more. If he wasnt enjoying the conversation it wouldve been a good excuse to quit, right? He said some things which I know that are untrue, others were quite inconsistent, but I trusted his intentions, y'know? Though I was amazed because we seemed to have so many things in common. Anyway, his coworker showed up and he abruptly cut the conversation off. I thought it was because he's not supposed to talk for so long with customers, but maybe he thought I was quite annoying or... idk. A few days later I asked if his band (yes, he has a band) would have a gig or something so I could see him off his work, and he said that they didn't have any gig booked. Then I said "so I'll never get to see you out of this store" and he said "no." I was clearly dumped, right? Of course it was embarassing, but why? The other guys who acted like him... things happened very easily, y'know? I'm just wondering because I really can't understand it. Maybe I was too blunt? But it's been months since we're flirting and life is too short for that. So, was I really dumped? Can I still trust my sense of judgement? XD
bryceisbryce Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 to be dumped you'd have to be going out. sounds like he just liked the attention and had no intentions of pursuing you in any way.
ExpatInItaly Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 ??? No, you weren't dumped. You have to be in a relationship in order to be dumped, and you clearly were not in a relationship with this guy. So..there you have it.
