NiCoLe20 Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 ok i came across a some clothes that belong to my X... and honestly i dont need them taking up space or lying around my room... so im like why not just give them back if he wants them right? so its been about a month and half since we last spoke to each other... we've seen each other around here & there but besides that we dont talk, or even say hi. so i texted him a couple hours ago and said ''i found some of ur clothes, if you want them let me know ill drop them off'' he texted me back and said ''call me when you come'' im thinking to myself- ok i guess he wants them. then he texted me again and said '' call me now'' so im getting all nervous and my stomache starts to get butterflies.... so i call him and im like ''yea?'' lol... he asked if i was at work, and what i was doing later. i said nothing. he wants to hang out and go for a ride. i told him im not trying to hang out with him like that. he said the past was the past.... and i told him yea but i dont want to hang out, i just want to drop off his clothes and thats it. he told me to call him later... this guy is so magnetic in a way... im attracted to something i just dont know what. he's a scorpio so that might explain it, lol. but anyways im talking to a great guy now but he's way toooo shy. i know i can open him up but it'll just take time. so what should i do when i drop of my x's clothes? should i give him back everything he once gave to me? (like teddy bears, and some clothes) or just his stuff? should i go on that ride with him and see what he has to say? or should i play hard to get and just tell him straight up- i moved on, i can ONLY be your aquantaince and thats it? im confused... its like i wish he could change into the person he once was before all the drugs, and stuff like that but i doubt itll happen. my whole family hates him so i know we can never once again be together w/o drama... my mind is telling me to forget him and just hand back his stuff and drive away... what you guys think?
Tiger-Lily Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 Keep the things he gave to you, if you don't want them again throw them out. Simply drive over there and give his stuff back. If he is interested in keeping you or having you as a friend he will contact you. But, don't jump at the opportunity this once. Keep the no contact as long as possible. Let him make the move if he wants you back in his life.
