I had a first date set for last week. I showed up at the meeting spot, 10 min after the meet time I send a text letting her know in out front. 10 min later she sends me a message saying she is still stuck at work and wants to reschedule, she is an ER nurse so I have the benefit of the doubt. She rescheduled for today immediately. Last night, around 1230am, she sends me a text asking if it would be possible to move the start time up from 830, since she is working early the next day. However, I work late today so I don't have a lot of wiggle room. I replied this morning stating that I could probably get there by 8 at best and have yet to here any reply, despite saying" how does that work?" I'm not sure if I should even bother showing up. Any thoughts? Should I send some sort if confirmatory text? I already made back up plans.

I wouldn't send anything else. If someone cannot manage their life better than to send at text at 12:30am to change your date, I would question their interest in really wanting to date.

I mean, this is a first date. The favor of a reply is a simple courtesy you should extend to anyone in your life. If this is the "best behavior"...yikes what is lurking?

Yeah I agree with Kruss, don't text anything else, wait and see if she says anything. If she doesn't, do not show up. That's her problem if she shows up and you aren't there, since she didn't bother to respond. And if she doesn't respond or try to reach out again, don't reach out to her, cut her loose. Sounds a little fishy to me, so don't lose any sleep over it. Onto the next! :)
