What is etiquette to end things after 4 dates?

My fourth date with this girl was Friday. We had been in some form of communication for about a month

I don't want to pursue things further and pretty sure she doesn't either. I haven't contacted her since the last date and she hasn't contacted me as well.

I met this girl through a friend as she's a co-worker of my friend.

Do I even need to say anything at this point? Or only respond if she were to contact me again? Or is it always better to have some closure on this?

Since neither of you has reached out, I think you're OK with the fade out, no further effort required. If she does reach out, Candy Pants' suggestion is find.

I agree on the fade out if you are both not interested but sometimes a person's lack of interest is telling them that she is also not interested when actually she really might like you. How do you know what a women is thinking?

I think it is far more decent and shows a confident stance to send the above ^^

What closure could you possibly need after only a few dates?

If it's mutual, then there's no point to speak the obvious.

I normally say i am not right for you and I wish them well..because that would be the truth..i would normally give more than four dates.......but thats me.......deb
