twinkie0 Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 okay, so the girl I like and have dated on and of for over a year got reaaal pissed off because she ran into me at a club and I was drunk and acted like an *******. nothing too serious, though. I didn't make a scene, but she got mad because of how I behaved, not the fact that I was drunk. it's been over a week, and four days since the last time I talked to her, to which she insists she doesn't want to talk to me, much less see me. Im mad because things were going really well and I messed up, but at the same time all my friends say she's totally overreacting, though I rather say sorry that try to be right in this ocassion. I acted like a douche, period. It's the first time something even remotely similar has happened. The first days I insisted talking to her, but she said she doesn't want to so I decided to initiate NC (no contact) for now. Like I said, it's been since thursday of not talking and this saturday would be two weeks since the incident. No girl, or person for that matter, had ever been mad at me for more that two days, tops. Do I keep the NC for a while or insist and when? Based on your own experiences, how long have you taken to forgive a guy and what do you prefer? Please help
todreaminblue Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 I dont know about other women on here ........but if i were to hear an apology that was heartfelt....then thats how long it takes me to tell a guy I forgive him normally.......and that isnt my choice to make..i dotn really hold grudges and i would not want to ignore a guy for a long amount of time.....not if i care.....dont like feeling guilt....so i just forgive.........deb
