roger136913 Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 I sat here and know I have come to terms. Seems the Brain has a small control, though my heart leads the way. I took the time to look at each one. Each one had a story, and has been a part of my life for 28 years. Tears flowing as I delete one by one. I have only done about 1,000 and have so many to go. It does get easier till you see one that hits hard. Then I laughed.... Stupid me!!!!!! I went from oldest to newest!!! Wrong !!! This way I was reliving it.. So I took the newest ones going back. Mentally, the pain feels better as you look back. I see pictures and her face it emotionless as I took the picture. I go back 6 years and she looks so happy. 10 years back I see smiles, in her eyes. What unfolded as I see the pictures as they read likes books. I think it took some guilt and pain as you can see where things went wrong. Long way to go still... How do you feel when you delete the pictures? What about ones you will never get back?

Just put them on a folder on your hard drive, or store in the cloud, where they're not right in front of your face.
