It took him 19 years to settle down with someone, i understand it is always hard in a new position especially with relationships. Before the guy that i am with now i was in a long term relationship, thinking it was going to end in marriage, he and i ended and my current boyfriend asked me what he is to me compared to my ex. So i told him exactly how i felt about him practically saying i love him. So i ask in return how he feels about me, all i got was he likes me alot. Later in the conversation he tells me he knows how he feels just cant explain it. Then he want to watch the movie hes trying to watch because he couldnt focus on the movie and me... I am not mad at him for any of this i understand it is hard. But does anyone think he was trying to get in the clear and not explain anything after he got what he wanted?

Gaeta Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 I think he choked a bit when time came to express his feelings, because it's the very first time he has to explain his feelings to someone. 'I like you a lot' actually means a lot from man lol This was all very uncomfortable to him, it's new, out of his comfort zone, so he just wanted the attention on something else than him, and the movie was the perfect excuse. Don't give him a hard time or he will shut down. He needs a little time, a little more confidence, and he will speak up.
