Radu Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 Damn, this is really nice. What the hell am I doing with my life. I need to get a girlfriend. I just cuddle my pillow, pretend it's a woman. We have the same relationship. Sleeping with someone is something i miss more than the sex. Preferably someone warm, soft, elastic warm skin, skin and hair that smells like angels ... i need to go and take a cold shower.

When in my relationship, I'd fall asleep either on his chest or have my arm wrapped around his. During the night he always has to touch feet. Awe miss it! boo hoo!
SJS Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 Both naked. He's always hot but I'm always cold. He has a sheet and one blanket on his side of the bed, I have 2 more blankets on my side. lol. We fall asleep with me on his shoulder on his side of the bed. Once he starts snoring I end up back on my own side.
dovegirl Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 He sleeps in his underwear, I sleep in a t-shirt. We always start out snuggling, but when it's actually time to sleep we tend to separate. He always rolls towards the end of the bed. However, even if we are mostly separate our legs and/or feet are always entangled or somehow touching. I sleep horribly when he's not there. I kinda hate that about myself, actually 1

He's a cuddler and we will either spoon for a bit or I'll snuggle into his armpit nook/chest area. But I have a limit. Depends on how sleepy I am. If I am super tired, I'll have to sneak out of his grip quickly and go to my side of the bed. I need my space at bedtime! If we ever get married, I think we will need those old school, 1950s, separate beds. lol. I've never been able to sleep well when someone else is in the bed, even if they're not touching me. Anyone else have this problem? It's rather annoying... 1
Got it Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 He sleeps in pj bottoms and top, I sleep in a night shirt and underwear. I become a furnace at night so I like it COLD with two fans on. He likes to build a nest around him of pillows and sleep in the middle of them. We have over 10 pillows on our bed. We used to sleep naked in the early days but his shoulders would always get cold. I like to sleep with a light blanket on and a sheet and my feet sticking out. He sleeps with the sheet, light blanket and heavy comforter. I am very persnickety on sleep as I can struggle with it. I want cold, wind, black and silent. I prefer that he "put me to bed, i.e. have sex" then lets me fall asleep on my own (he is a night owl). If not I prefer we both fall asleep at the same time (no reading in bed) so I have to deal with a light even from the phone. I sleep on my side or stomach, usually end up on my stomach.

Nothing like waking up and rubbing my hands on her skin, feeling the curves of her hips. When we fall asleep it's almost always on our left sides, me spooning her, with one hand on her boob, the other on her hip or butt. It's cute when I get an itch and move my arm and she grabs it tight and brings it back. Our other one is on our sides facing each other. She'll nuzzle her head into my shoulder and I get to stroke her hair. She says it makes her feel safe. Anyone else got sleeping rituals or behaviours? I have not slept in a bed with a woman in a few months. With my ex gf, it was 50/50 clothes, no clothes. Facing the bed, I always slept on the right. I would lay on my left side, her too, her behind me, spooning me, arms around my chest and/or on my right leg, and for some reason I liked to reach back with my right arm and put my hand inside her right hip or on her hip. If we ended up on ouyr backs I still liked to reach over and have my hand lay on her hip area. Not sure why. I would spoon her sometimes, but that usually led to sex. I could not focus enough to sleep!
Babolat Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 If we ever live together or get married a king bed is a MUST, as he eventually gets almost diagonal at night or slowly inches over and over until I'm practically falling off the bed and I have to wake him up a little to tell him to go over as I'm falling off. This happens every time. Yup, I have a king size temperpedic, and I LOOOOVE it. Gives me all kinds of room and it quite comfy too! Queen size is a challenge for me at 6'3"

Anyone else have this problem? It's rather annoying... Yeah i suffer from the same problem. It takes me a very long time to be able To fall asleep and sleep nicely with someone else. Not there yet with the guy I'm seeing. We sleep naked and ill pass out nicely for the first few hours. But then i always wake up when he moves and by 4am i am wide awake. Tend to manage to sleep a bit more after we havemiddle of the night sex, but with horrible dreams and by racing heart. Serious question.... how do people fall asleep with their head on their partners chest/nook??? Last night we cuddled a bit after sex and i had my head resting on his armpit/chest and the muscles on my back were going nuts!!!i had to move 5 minutss after. I would love to be able to fall asleep like that! And I was trying! But I just wasn't comfortable! My back was going into spasms! I don't sleep very well with other people, as it is. But I do find that I sleep better if there is some light touching, like a hand, or a foot. It's still not the best of sleeps, but at least it's something! I remember, years ago, seeing my best friend at the time and her bf sleeping, completely wrapped up in each other, kinda hugging... They looked really peaceful! I was very jealous! (this was at a party in a very small house, so everyone was sleeping scattered around the house in makeshift beds! I wasn't spying on them in their room!!) 1
gaius Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 I used to try and fall asleep somewhat entwined because that's what you're supposed to do only to find out that usually ends up with whatever limbs are entwined falling asleep or getting sore. Now I just sleep on my belly with my arms by my side. Usually naked or with my underwear on. 1

He was already asleep and woke up with a start... The warm skin contact gives me a nice feeling, so helps me feel more relaxed. I do pull away for the actual sleep though. Still, you should be able to last more than 5 minutes! There are comfortable positions that I could lie in all night. Could probably even sleep in them if I wasn't so OCD.
