Me and my girlfriend always sleep naked, even in the chilly months. I warm her up :p that skin on skin contact is amazing. Nothing like waking up and rubbing my hands on her skin, feeling the curves of her hips.

When we fall asleep it's almost always on our left sides, me spooning her, with one hand on her boob, the other on her hip or butt. It's cute when I get an itch and move my arm and she grabs it tight and brings it back.

Our other one is on our sides facing each other. She'll nuzzle her head into my shoulder and I get to stroke her hair. She says it makes her feel safe.

Anyone else got sleeping rituals or behaviours?

I like touching shoulders. Tend to get too hot under covers so spooning gets uncomfortable after a while but I like skin on skin contact too. One guy used to pull me onto his shoulder but it was so muscular, it was really uncomfortable to sleep on :p. I would pull away and he kept pulling me back haha. Otherwise just shoulders and length of the the arm touching.

We go to bed with our arms around each other, in underwear. Usually with my head on his shoulder/chest, and his arm around my back (but not on boob/butt, too distracting for real sleep :p). But we pull apart when we're actually dozing off - neither of us prefers to sleep entwined.

Since I've been pregnant it's hard to get to sleep early, so my H used to play with my hair every night till I fell asleep. He would continue playing with my hair for a while after I was sleeping just to make sure I'd stay asleep. We always fell asleep spooning, or with my head on his chest and my leg over his. That was so nice.

I can sleep anywhere provided im on the right side of the bed/whatever im sleeping on, on my back, with my head on the left.

My girlfriend sleeps on my left, normally like facing into me with her head on my chest and I'll just have my arm round her.

She tends to sleep in one of the T-shirts she's stolen from me over time. I like to sleep in..[weird fact about shepp #134] I like to sleep in surf shorts! Which people find really strange but when you layout the facts - their comfy, their super lightweight, the lining feels nice - I think it makes great sense! haha! Plus then i'm wearing proper shorts if I have to get up at 2a.m. and let the dog out/go to the babies/my best mate knocks on my door with an electric heater he "just found" but cant carry!! They just cover all eventualities!!

We spoon for a few minutes before separating and going to our own sides. He would like to sleep intertwined, but I can't do it.

Touching is a no-no when I'm trying to fall asleep. I'd literally never fall asleep if another human was touching me in any way. I want to get a king size bed someday.

I'm weird about sleep though. My FI says I have sleep rituals, and conditions must be perfect in order for me to fall asleep.

Hey, sounds exactly like me! I put it down to my OCD.

I also literally can't sleep in clothes, which makes group trips troublesome... :o

Yep.

I visited a friend a few months ago who just moved into a new place. I didn't know it was a 1 bedroom and that we'd be sharing a bed. I wore shorts and a tank top and barely slept at all.

I envy people who can fall asleep anywhere. I can't sleep on planes or in cars. I have a hard time falling asleep anywhere but my own bed. I can sleep at my mom's for some reason, but I think it's because she puts me sleep.

When we initially go to bed, usually naked, or in underwear or me a t-shirt, we're spooning, either facing each other so that we can talk or when we're ready to sleep I'll turn to my left and he'll still have his arm around my waist or if I have a shirt on he likes to put his hand under the shirt around my stomach or on my boob lol. Usually though I have to disentangle myself from him in order to fall asleep, as it gets too hot.

If we ever live together or get married a king bed is a MUST, as he eventually gets almost diagonal at night or slowly inches over and over until I'm practically falling off the bed and I have to wake him up a little to tell him to go over as I'm falling off. This happens every time.

I know, right??? My guy's like that, literally falls asleep in 5 minutes. I alternate between being insanely jealous, and being grateful that it's not both of us with fidgety insomnia, otherwise we'd drive each other bananas...

I like this thinking!! My gf constantly wakes me up for talking too loud in my sleep - what's the good in that!? Now we're just both awake!!

Damn, this is really nice. What the hell am I doing with my life. I need to get a girlfriend.

I just cuddle my pillow, pretend it's a woman. :(

Me on the couch, masturbating, watching Breaking Bad, and chatting to random women online. Her in the bedroom with the cat. It worked well for a good year or so.

I would love to sleep entangled, but my BF is a no-touchy sleeper.

We are polar opposites when it comes to sleeping.

I prefer to sleep nude while we joke that he dresses up like the unibomber…sweats, including a hoodie with the hood on. He is always freezing.

When we first started dating I told him that he sleeps as if he's in a coffin. It's true. He lays flat on his back with his hands folded across his chest and he NEVER moves the whole night through!

The first time I spent the night at his place he must have wanted to come unglued because I did not know his sleeping preference at that time and I cuddled and touched him all night long. He tolerated it, but let me know the next time that we had to put a masking tape line down the middle of the bed when it was sleeping time. LOL

On the nights that we don't have sleepovers I cuddle my extra pillow and share the bed with my two cats.

I love to sleep on my invisible boyfriend's shoulder and tickle him with my eyelashes when I have insomnia. I find his invisible snore endearing, but when I mess with his legs he always has cold feet. Sometimes I accidentally push him out of the bed because I need space, but he doesn't complain. Sometimes I kiss him in the middle of the night, and in the morning I don't remember anything. He still doesn't complain.

I'm mostly a no touch person during sleep. I'm ok with hand holding or feet touching, but full on spooning gets to be a bit too much

I'm definitely a gropeyish kind of sleeper that doesn't understand people who need this meticulous near perfect situation to fall asleep in like they're launching into space and have to adjust 3,000 times until they get into that EXACT right spot, wearing the correct amount of clothes but can't stand anything wrinkling or crinkling underneath them, the exact same density of pillow, get too hot or cold...man that must be draining! and it's also extremely frustrating and annoying at times because you just can't relax with the person and fall asleep even if it's not ideally the most comfortable position ever, for them it's like laying on metal spikes.

And if you say "I can't breathe" one more time!

I can understand the pillow thing though, I mean who doesn't like the perfect pillow but I could fall asleep on any pillow and in a variety of positions, my biggest problem is I have big shoulders so If my pillow isn't right it's either too high or my head is hanging down like a limp yoyo just tweaking my neck, but for me that like makes sense, it's a matter of pain.

I am like the guy in MissBee's post, I like and highly prefer to be close or practically lean on you which I'm not a small person so if she is and even if she is not I could crush her so I know better than to put my full weight on her (although if anyone is able to tolerate that I am accepting applications for that position) and I don't mind being entangled as long as you're not breathing in my face because I want my own air so it's usually from a spooning type position or some variation, or like sleeping on my chest or in my arms right under my chin. I think the most comfortable is either hand holding or interlocking arms, and this is not just about like mushy or lovey dovey things, it actually makes me sleep faster...physical contact helps me sleep much better overall, and I really do hate sleeping alone, so If I'm not even allowed to touch the person I might as well sleep in a separate bed IMO, it will annoy me if I could not touch her...so might as well sleep alone, what's the difference? if you fart we're under the same blanket? woopdie doo, thanks for sharing the "love".

I can't fall asleep easily anywhere like some people can, like in a park chair, bus, or anything public really...I force myself to sleep on airplanes just to pass the time on long flights but it's really uncomfortable when you're tall and wide shouldered and tucked into a tiny little seat made for a ten year old.

Also big breasted women need apply, my head resting on your bosom in a warm embrace is priceless...I'll be out like a light in 5 secs, it's my organic sleep medication and the only thing that puts me to sleep actually quickly, besides being dead tired.

I always wanted to sleep snuggled. He didn't like it. Once I tried sleeping naked. He said it was gross and unsanitary.

I hug a second pillow now and my cat sleeps lying across my feet. Dog against my back.

Oh, other than our legs intertwined, the other way we sleep is me on my side, him on his back and I kinda cuddle up and make sure my legs are bent for my cat to cuddle up too  I forgot to mention her in how we sleep, but she is there every night.

and then if he starts snoring, cat and I relocate to the spare room. :D

Well this remind me that a long time ago when I was in my 20's and married to wife #1, at Christmas she bought me a pair of PJ's and a robe.

I was never one to wear PJ's and when I put them on I noticed thet there was a breast pocket and two on each side. Why? Why three pockets? Where the hell was i going in PJ's that I need three pockets. I'm going to bed not going out shopping.

I really liked the robe but the jammies just didn't cut it with three pockets.

By the way, I sleep on my back with a pillow over my face. Don't ask because I don't know why either.

Cuddling is great, but *I* find it's uncomfortable when trying to fall asleep.

I sleep on the side and love spooning

My ex was no-touch and no-blanket-sharing sleeper and he was always too hot or too cold
